We have walked the upper portion of Buffalo Bayou around Hershey Park.  Now we will check out a portion closer to downtown.  Buffalo Bayou between Shepard and Sabine is a favorite for downtown joggers.  There are some great views of the downtown skyline as we walk along the bayou.  Some areas are spaces like meadows, others pass through the trees.  Some of the trail is along busy streets, while others make it hard to believe you are almost in the heart of the fourth largest city in the U.S.
